Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the end of a stator coil from deforming circumferentially and radially by holding the end of the stator coil by a strip securing ring press- fitted between upper and lower coils and a spacer press-fitted from between adjacent coils of the upper and lower coils. CONSTITUTION:The end 3 of a stator coil having a plurality of upper and lower coils 3a, 3b led from a stator core 2 is held by a series of strip securing rings 5a which is press-fitted to a gap W between upper and lower coils 3a, 3b to be secured integrally with the end 3 of the coil and has the prescribed thickness T, and a spacer 1a which is press-fitted from a gap W1 between adjacent coils of the upper and lower coils 3a, 3b to press the ring 5 and has the prescribed thickness. In this manner, a device for holding the end 3 of the coil to prevent the end 3 of the coil from deforming circumferentially and radially can be obtained.
