Summary:PURPOSE:To save energy by a method wherein the speed of motors of a group of coolers is controlled by comparing the temperature pattern or the load pattern of a transformer with the actual temperature of the actual load. CONSTITUTION:The load factor and the temperature of a transformer 1 are detected by a load factor detector 2, a temperature detector 3 and a winding temperature detector 4. The detected values are put into a data processor 23 through converters 17-20 and an analog input equipment 21. A control instruction equipment 22 contains the temperature pattern and the load pattern obtained from the operation record of the transformer 1 and the driving speed data of an auxiliary machine 8 corresponding to those patterns. The equipment 23 controls the speed of the motor of the auxiliary machine 8 in accordance with the output signal of the equipment 22. If the temperature or the load factor of the transformer 1 is out of the range of the contained patterns, the data from the equipment 21 is corrected by the equipment 23 to control the auxiliary machine 8.
