Summary: | PURPOSE:To eliminate the use of a filter by giving Fourier transform to the output of a magnetic field detector to obtain two Fourier coefficients and using these coefficients as the n-th higher harmonic wave components to read the position on a flat plate. CONSTITUTION:An output signal Vi of a detected winding is amplified by an amplifier 14 with the n-1 and the n order higher harmonic components extracted by a filter and then sampled into N units of data SK by an A/D converter 15. The data SK undergoes the discrete Fourier transform through a Fourier transform circuit 16 to obtain Fourier coefficients an and bn of the n order higher harmonic wave component. Then a phase phin is obtained from those Fourier coefficients. A subtractor circuit 18 performs a subtraction (phin-phin-1) to obtain a phase phi1. The phase phi1 is 0, 1, 2-n-1 are delivered in accordance with the size of the phase. These values are multiplied by 2pi through a multiplying circuit 20 and then addd with the phase phin by an adder circuit 21 to obtain the coordinate. |
