Summary:NEW MATERIAL:A triazole ketol derivative of formula I (R, R' are alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, 5-, 6-membered heterocyclic group, phenyl which may be mono--trisubstituted with groups selected from halogens, lower alkyl and lower alkoxy groups, where the case where R and R' are phenyls simultaneously is excluded), its isomers or acid adducts. EXAMPLE:2-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)-2-hydroxy-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-3-p entanone. USE:It is used as an antifungal in the form of a preparation for external or internal use or injection to treat moniliasis and dermatomycoses in men and animals. PREPARATION:A compound of formula II is allowed to react with N,N,N',N- tetramethyldiaminomethane in acetic anhydride, then the product is subjected to oxirane formation reaction. The resultant compound of formula III is allowed to react with a compound of formula IV to form the compound of formula I .
