Summary:PURPOSE:To securely instal a splash cover and prevent it from suffering damage by molding the areas of contact of the splash cover body and its mounting pieces, and those of the legs of said mounting pieces and the mounting areas in thin- walled bendable forms. CONSTITUTION:Since a splash cover A is firmly fixed to side members 35 and to a front cross member 33, it does not hang down due to its own weight or vibration. On the other hand, the cover A is installed to a suspension member 37 through bendable mounting pieces 23. Accordingly, even if the suspension member 37 swings back and forth or up and down while the car is running, the splash cover A never breaks since the vibration is absorbed due to the relative movement between mounting areas 19 and mounting legs 27, and between the splash cover body 1 and the mounting pieces 23.
