Summary: | PURPOSE:To facilitate implementation of heat insulating work by providing a mount having a cushioning material on its upper surface to a side wall of a hold, and a support having a cushioning material on its lower surface around the outer circumference of a tank, while said two members being engaged, and disposing heat insulating material underneath the mount and on the upper surface of the support. CONSTITUTION:A mount 7 is provided to a side wall of a hold, and a cushioning material 10 is disposed on its upper surface. Meanwhile, a support 13 is provided to the outer circumference of an LNG storage tank 6 to be carried in the hold 3, and a cushioning material 16 is disposed on its lower surface. The mount 7 and the support 13 are engaged to carry the tank 6 in the hold. A heat insulating material 18 is disposed in advance underneath the mount 7, and a heat insulating material 17 is disposed in the upper area of the support 13, that is the outer circumference of the upper half of the tank 6. Therefore, by engaging the support 13 of the tank with the mount 7 in the hold, the application of the heat insulating material is also completed. In this manner, there is no need of heat insulation application work in a cramped area after the tank is installed, allowing an efficient application of the heat insulating material around the tank. |
