Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain smoothly a steel contg. >=2 kinds of components from one charge of a molten steel refined in a converter by charging under pressure a molten additive for component adjustment in a hermetic vessel into the molten steel in a tundish of a continuous casting machine via a hollow member by pressurizing the vessel. CONSTITUTION:An additive for component adjustment is preliminarily melted in another melting furnace and is contained and held in a hermetic vessel 16. The vessel 16 is lowered in the stage of addition, and the other end part of a hollow member 8 of which the one end is opened under the liquid surface of the molten additive 15 is immersed into the molten steel 2 in a tundish 6 charged from a ladle 1. Pressure gas such as Ar is supplied through a piping 18 into the vessel 16 to pressurize the inside of the vessel 16, and the additive 15 in the vessel 16 is charged and added via the member 8 into the molten steel 2 in the stirring area 6A of the tundish 6. The molten steel 2 which is added with the additive 15 and is adjusted uniform in both the component and temp. flows through a gate 7 into a still region 6B. The molten steel 2 is then continuously cast through a nozzle 13 into a mold 14. |
