Summary: | PURPOSE:To produce hydrogen in an amt. meeting load by detecting the fluctuation in the load on a desulfurizer side with a pressure detector and flow rate detector provided on the outlet side of a hydrogen producing device and controlling the flow rate of raw materials according to the fluctuation in the load. CONSTITUTION:The off-gas heated in a heating furnace 1 is desulfurized in a desulfurizing column 2 and is brought into reaction with steam in a reforming furnace 3 to reform the gas to H2 and CO2, hereafter CO2 is removed from the gas in a decarbonation device 4 and H2 is obtd. When the load on the hydrogen consuming side decreases here, the measured pressure value of a pressure controller C5 detected with a pressure detector P4 rises and exceeds a set value, thus opening a control valve V6. An arithmetic device 5 in this state receives the outputs from the detector P4 and a flow rate detector F4 and applies the fresh set value MV' obtd. by subtracting a specified value alpha from the set signal MV to an operator M in the stage when conditions are satisfied, thereby closing a control valve V4 and decreasing the gaseous pressure in the inlet of the furnace 3. A timer built in the device 5 is then started and when the system stabilizes, the detectors P4, F4 are checked and this operation is repeated. Thus, the flow rate of the raw materials according to the decrease in the load is controlled. |
