Summary:PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. having excellent heat resistance and moldability as well as good high-temperature dimensional stability, by adding a phenolic antioxidant to a specified arom. polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:0.01-0.4pts.wt. phenolic antioxidant such as tris(3,5-di-t-butyl-4- hydroxyphenyl) isocyanurate is blended with 100pts.wt. arom. polyester resin composed of an arom. polyester resin having a logarithmic viscosity number of 0.2-20 and composed of structural units of formulas I , II and III [wherein carbonyl groups in formula I and oxygen atoms in formulas II, III are bonded to the benzene ring at positions meta or para against the SO2 group or X group ; X is a vibalent C1-C10 hydrocarbon group, O, CO, etc. ; a is 0, 1 ; R1-R4 are each H, a 1-8 C hydrocarbon group, halogen] in a ratio of the structural unit of formula I ; that of formula II : that of formula III of 1 ; 0.36-1.06 : 0.04-0.66 and in a ratio of the structural unit of formula I /(that of formula II + that of formula III) of 1:0.36-1.06.
