Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively utilize solar energy which has been discarded in a conventional device, by a method wherein heat is accumulated by driving a heat-accumulating circulating pump when a temperature detected by a temperature sensor reaches a lower limit temperature for heat accumulation, in the same manner as in the house-open days even when a change-over controlling switch closes a contact for the house-closed days. CONSTITUTION:The change-over controlling switch 14 drives a hot water storing circulating pump 9 when the first contact A is closed in the house-open days. In the case where the second contact B is closed in the house-closed days, the switch 14 drives the pump 9 when the temperature sensor 6b detects the lower limit temperature which is required for heat accumulation, and drives a cooling water circulating pump 11 to prevent a heat collector 1 from being overheated when the sensor 6b detects an upper limit temperature which is dangerous to the heat collector 1. Namely, the pump 9 is driven in response to the detection of the lower limit temperature by the sensor 6b, and the pump 11 is driven to protect the heat collector 1 in response to the detection of the upper limit temperature. Accordingly, it is enabled to effectively utilize solar energy which has been discarded in the conventional device.
