Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate fabricating and assembling operations without leaching of a flux in a refrigerant flow passage by brazing a union and a tube with the core metal interposed therebetween while stagnating the flux in a flux well. CONSTITUTION:An annular clad plate 18 is housed in a brazing material installing part 15 of a union 10, and a tube is press fitted therein and is tentatively fixed in a tube press fitting part 17. When these parts are heated, the flux on the plate 18 melts firsts and wets the inside of a tube inserting port 14. A brazing material 20 melts thereafter and flows in the trace wet with the molten flux, thus intruding into the space between the inside circumferential surface of the union 10 and a core metal 19 and between the outside circumferential surface of the tube 2 and the metal 19 by capillarity. In other words, the union 10 and the tube 2 are brazed with the core metal 19 intervened therebetween. The molten flux flowing in the union 10 is captured in a flux well 16 without seeping through the part 17 into a through-hole 11.
