Summary:PURPOSE:To ensure the certainty of data transfer independently of a system scale and realize a data transfer degree adapted to the scale, by connecting plural data processing devices, which data is transferred among, with a bus to constitute a data processing system. CONSTITUTION:A bus BUS connecting data processing devices DP is provided with an address bus AB, a data bus DB, a synchronizing bus SB, and a data reception completion bus RB. The data reception completion bus RB is provided for transfer of a data reception completion signal from the first data processing device DP, which completes the reception of required data, to the second data processing device DP of a transmission source. Since the second transmission source stops the transmission of answer data to the data bus DB immediately when receiving this data reception completion signal, transfer of answer data is ensured even if the synchronization in the data processing device and the transfer time on the bus BUS are changed.
