Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the constant speed operation control and the station stopping control of an electric rolling stock by controlling a weak-field contactor by the deviation between a command running speed and an actual running speed at the power driving time and by the deviation between a command deceleration and an actual deceleration at the generating brake time. CONSTITUTION:When a master controller is turned to the third notch, a line breaker L closes to form a main circuit, and resistor shortcircuiting contactors R1-R8 are sequentially closed under the control of a current limiting relay CL. At this time, when the deviation between an instruction speed and an actual speed becomes the prescribed value or lower, weak-field contactors WF3, WF2 are opened to reduce an output torque. Then, when 5-step is instructed in an operation cab brake valve BV, a line breaker BL is closed, and the contactors R1-R8 are sequentially closed under the control of the relay CL. At this time, when the deviation becomes the prescribed value or larger, the contactors WF3, WF2 are opened to reduce the actual brake force.
