PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition storable for a long period without deteriorating the physical properties, and capable of forming a cured coating film having high toughness and adhesivity only by the evaporation of water without using a catalyst, by compounding alumina sol to a polyorgansosiloxane emulsion containing silanol group. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) an emulsion precursor obtained by emulsifying (i) 1-80wt% of a polydiorganosiloxane having one silanol group in a molecule in the presence of (ii) 0.1-20wt% of a nonionic surface active agent and a quaternary ammonium salt surface active agent and (iii) 15-95wt% of water, with (B) an arbitrary amount of alumina sol. the polydiorganosiloxane is preferably the one containing a carbon-containing functional group wherein the bonded organic group is constituted with at least one kind of atom selected from C, H, N and O, blocked its both terminals with silanol group, and having a viscosity of 50-1,000,000cSt. The precursor is preferably the one obtained by the emulsion polymerization in the presence of a polymerization catalyst (potassium hydroxide).
