Summary: | PURPOSE:To detect the ignition of an oil separator element in a simple structure as well as to make the element protectable speedily, by rolling in a low temperature fusible material-make melting body in a multilayer manner at the outlet side in a flowing direction of fluid inside the separator element. CONSTITUTION:Inside a fibriform filter 8 of an oil separator element, a low temperature fusible melting body 9, for example, optical fiber glass 9 is rolled in spiral form in a multiplayer manner ranging from the upper part to the lower part of the element 8 thoroughly, and the rolling position is set down to the outlet side of a fluid inside the element 8. At one end of the optical fiber glass 9, a light source 10 is disposed while at the other end an optical detector 11 is disposed, and when the heated optical fiber glass 9 is cut off somewhere unknown, the optical detector 11 fails to detect any light there whereby it is so designed as to stop a hydraulic machine or to emit an alarm. With this constitution, the ignition of the element 8 is detected with a simple construction so that prompt protection can be achieved. |
