Summary:PURPOSE:To attain the multipen input on an electronic blackboard, by inputting plural sets of pen position information to a control circuit in time division and reading XY coordinates to each pen. CONSTITUTION:An output of an oscillator OSC is frequency-divided by 1/N, and inputted to each shift register, and a pulse is applied to an XY coil. Further, the oscillation output is frequency-divided by 1/M at an M-notation counter M, frequency-divided by 1/2 at a frequency divider T, an XY switching signal X/Y is obtained and the XY coil is driven alternately by M times each. An output of the frequency-divider T is frequency-divided by 1/K and inputted to a selector SEL. If sensors SEN1, SEN2, and SENK are placed on different positions on a blackboard at the same time, each output is selected SEL sequentially according to the output of the frequency divider K, and filtered and converted CON at A/D conversion, sampled in synchronizing with the output of a frequency-divider J, transmitted to a processing section PRO, and a prescribed XY coordinate data is outputted.
