Summary: | PURPOSE:To safely escape an inverter by stopping the rectifying operation of a thyristor under a power interruption detecting condition, and simultaneously rapidly deenergizing the inverter by a pulse shift of the inverter to eliminate the pulse. CONSTITUTION:Firing switches 22 are immediately turned OFF simultaneously by judging a power interruption by an operation instructing unit 16, and a pulse shift command is simultaneously applied to a firing controller 15. Thus, a rectifier 2' stops rectifying, an inverter 5 generates the highest possible DC reverse voltage to reduce the current of a DC reactor 3. A pulse OFF command is applied to the controller after the fact that the current becomes zero is confirmed. In this manner, the inverter can be safely retreated, stopped until the power is recovered, and is placed at stand-by state. |
