Summary:PURPOSE:To perform easily sort discrimination while forming with a good yield by stamping bead glasses when assembling an electron gun to be sealed in the neck part and fixing constituent members like an electrode or the like to the bead glasses as prescribed. CONSTITUTION:Members 2 like an electrode or the like are inserted into an assembly jig, this is arranged on an assembly device 3, the bead glasses 32 are mounted inside of the V blocks 31 and after these are heated up to a prescribed temperature, the V blocks are moved toward the assembly jig 1 in the arrow direction and the members 2 like the electrode or the like are fixed while their end parts are burried in the bead glasses 32. Next, the stamps 34 and 35 are made on the bead glass surfaces from outside through the through hole 33, by using, for instance, a metal rod. Said bead glass surfaces to be stamped are located on the opposite surfaces to the surfaces wherein the electrode or the like are burried. Thereby, working efficiency can be improved thus being able to form with a good yield and to perform sort discrimination easily.
