Summary:PURPOSE:To form a coating layer with a uniform thickness without generating the mutual coagulation of particles, by a method wherein the surface of a granular solid substance is coated with a solution of a resin in a mixed liquid consisting of a compatible solvent and a less compatible solvent and both solvents are removed after the resin is cured. CONSTITUTION:As a granular solid substance, glass, a metal, a drug or food is mentioned, and the particle size thereof is about 5-1,000mu. As a coating resin, a silicone resin, a polyester resin or the like is mentioned and a curing agent or a crosslinking agent can be used together. The curing of the resin is carried out by appropriately using infrared rays of ultraviolet rays at about 20-30 deg.C. As a compatible solvent, toluene or xylene is used and as a less compatible solvent, diacetone alcohol is used and both solvents have mutual compatibility and a ratio of the compatible and the less compatible solvents is about 1:0.5-3.0 by wt. After at least a part of the resin is cured or said resin is fully cured, by evaporating both solvents, adhesion between particles is not generated and no aggregate is formed.
