Summary:PURPOSE:To efficiently perform cleaning work of a transfer trough, by providing a cleaning tool, in which a brush suspended to a screw shaft is slidably contacted to an internal wall of the trough by rotation of the screw shaft, to a screw conveyer of a grain drier machine. CONSTITUTION:After an end of drying work in a grain drier machine 1, in case of cleaning an upper spiral trough 11, a cleaning tool 18 positioned to the start end side of a shaft part 12a in an upper transfer spiral 12 is transferred from the left to the right by rotating the spiral 12 to the direction of an arrow head. Then residual grains in the trough 11 are transferred while being collected by a brush of the tool 18 and dropped downward from a discharge port 14 in the final end of the trough 11, further the tool 18 is moved from the right side to the left side by reversely rotating an electric motor to rotate the spiral 12 to an opposite direction to the arrow head. In this way, the tool is moved to the left side while cleaning the residual grains in the trough 11 to drop the grain from a discharge funnel 13 and perform cleaning work.
