Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous setting exceeding a threshold value, by detecting that a set digital signal to be updated has reached the threshold value, and shifting the digital singal to its initial value. CONSTITUTION:Through a switch SW1, an up-down counter 2 is controlled as to its up-counting when the initial value is the highest speed second in accordance with aperture priority and shutter second time priority, or is an initial value of the minimum opening value, and a digital set value through the counter 2 is updated in order. When this updated value reaches the lowest speed second time or the maximum opening, etc., it is detected by a counter controlling circuit 4, the counter 2 is preset to the initial value, and a digital set signal circulates and does not exceed the threshold value. In case when the digital signal is counted and set by setting the lowest speed second time or the maximum opening value as the initial value, and executing the down-counting, the constitution is same, and a setting error exceeding the threshold value is prevented.
