Summary: | PURPOSE:To suppress the variation of high-and peaking characteristics, by connecting an active filter circuit to an equalizer amplifier to which an output of a magnetic head is supplied. CONSTITUTION:A sound signal of a magneic tape 1 is reproduced by a magnetic head 2, is amplified by an equalizer amplifier 4, and also an NAB characteristic is made equivalent. In this regard, this equalizer amplifier 4 served as a buffer circuit of a peaking circuit 6, too. Said sound signal is outputted from a sound output terminal 5 after desired peaking in a high band has been applied by the peaking circuit 6. According to this invention, instead of constituting the peaking circuit by use of inductance of a coil of a reproducing head, which has been executed conventionally, an active filter circuit which has made low-band gain constant is provided separately, therefore, the peaking characteristics become almost constant, and the performance of the peaking circuit is elevated. |
