PURPOSE:To enable the desirable increase in the distance between seats, by providing a seat slidable forward, backward and sideward. CONSTITUTION:Distance increasing rails 22, 23 are provided on a base plate 3 for a seat 1. Distance increasing sliders 24, 25 are provided on the rails 22, 23. The upper portions of the sliders 24, 25 are coupled to each other by rails 4, 5 which extend in a front-to-rear direction. Front-to-rear sliders 6, 7 are provided on the rails 4, 5. The upper portions of the sliders 6, 7 are coupled to each other so that a sliding body 8 is formed. A guide cylinder 9 is provided on the sliding body 8. A rotatable cylinder 10 is supported on the guide cylinder 9. A seat frame 11 is provided on the cylinder 10. A bottom 12, a back 13, etc. are provided on the frame 11. According to this constitution, the bottom 12 etc. on the frame 11 can be turned and be slid forward, backward and sideward.
