Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled film having excellent water resistance, by treating a film derived from an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer having functional groups capable of bonding or reacting with a metallic ion and an amino resin, with an aqueous solution containing said metallic ion and said amino resin, and curing the treated film by heating. CONSTITUTION:A polymerizable monomer mixture containing (A) preferably 1-30wt% monomer having a functional group capable of bonding with aI-VIII group metal of the periodic table through ionic and/or coordinate bond[e.g. (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)allyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, etc.]and (B) preferably 1-30wt% monomer reactive with an amino resin (e.g. dicyandiamide) is polymerized in an aqueous medium e.g. by emulsion polymerization, and the resultant copolymer dispersion is if necessary mixed with an amino resin, and preliminarily dried. The formed film is treated with an aqueous solution containing said metallic ion and said amino resin, and cured by heating to obtain the objective film. EFFECT:Excellent elongation and flexibility. |
