Summary:PURPOSE:To use a constant current amplifier to drive a speaker, by packing a magnetic fluid having a proper viscosity into the space between a voice coil and a magnetic circuit or the space among the voice coil, a bobbin, and the magnetic circuit to produce the speaker. CONSTITUTION:The signal generated from a signal source 1 such as a record player is amplified by a constant current amplifier 2, and a speaker 3 is driven by the constant current amplifier 2. In the speaker 3, a bobbin 9 where a voice coil 8 is wound around the outside circumference is inserted into the magnetic gap made by a pole piece 6 and a yoke plate 7, and a magnetic fluid 5 having a proper viscosity is packed around the voice coil 8. A disc-shaped diaphragm is attached to the bobbin 9. By the magnetic fluid, the speaker damped to the critical damping or near it is used in the state of the critical damping or near it when the speaker is connected to the output terminal of the constant current amplifier, where the output impedance is the infinite or near it, even if the terminal is opened.
