CONSTITUTION:An inside memory 2 has a table for retrieving a commodity name and its corresponding commodity number. When a commodity name is inputted directly by ''Kana'' (Japanese syllabary) or alphabet of a keyboard 4 and stock administrating information such as received and delivered quantities, etc. is inputted by a numerical key, its commodity number is retrieved from an outside memory 3 in accordance with a program of a CPU 1, operation of the quantity, rewriting of a unit price, etc. are executed, also are displayed on a CRT 5, and simultaneously are printed out 6. In this way, a commodity name can be inputted directly, and an operator who is unaccustomed to this kind of job is also able to easily perform the stock administrating job.
