Summary:PURPOSE:To enable miniaturization of the air conditioner, elimination of a vent port, and curtailment of an elastic control chamber by disposing a power module in the vicinity of an exhaust port and cooling the power module with the air current of the room air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:The power module 11 is hermetically connected on its back surface to a miniature radiation fins 15 made of aluminum, and fixed to the bottom part of an outer frame 16 along an air current passage generated by a blast fan 5. The speed of the air current generated by a blast fan assumes a value of 1.5/m-2.0m/s in the vicinity of the radiation fins, and the surface area of radiation fins is 1/5 that at the time of the natural counterflow, and has a cooling effect equivalent to that at the time of natural counterflow. The air current which has cooled the power module is extracted to the outside via the exhaust port, and hence any vent port is utterly unrequired.
