PURPOSE:To prevent rainwater drops from dripping into the cabin, in an arrangement composed of a welt contacting the glass hatch and mounted on the car body panel and a hollow seal part, by furnishing a lip contacting the bottom of the glass hatch extendingly at said hollow seal part. CONSTITUTION:On the flange part 5 of a rear panel 4 is fitted a welt part 8 with an inverted U-shaped profile having in its inside a certain number of retainer lips 6 and at its outside a hollow seal part 7, and the bottom end's internal surface of the glass hatch 3 in closed position is put in elastical contact with a seal lip 9 furnished projectingly at the hollow seal part 7. Here a long lip 15 for cutting water drops is furnished projectingly at a lower bent piece 7a provided at the hollow seal part 7. The tip 15a of this lip 15 shall be put in contact with the rear panel 4 while the glass hatch 3 is in closed position, and its central part 15b in elastical contact with the bottom of the glass hatch 3. Thus water drops on the glass hatch 3 are hindered from dripping inside the cabin while the hatch is closed.
