Summary:PURPOSE:To take numbers of copies at a high speed by providing plural electrophotographic process parts, dividing the image-forming optical path of an original optically, and guiding respective divided pieces of original image-forming luminous flux to the respective electrophotographic process parts. CONSTITUTION:Electrostatic images of an original 2 on a glass plate 1 are formed on electrophotographic receptors of respective electrophotographic process partsI-IV through an image-forming lens 8 by reciprocal movement shown by an arrow 3. Light is sent to partially transmissive mirrors 9-11 for luminous flux splitting and a total reflecting mirror 12 provided behind a lens 8. For example, the mirror 9 has 25% reflecting capability and the mirror 10 has 33.3% reflecting capability; and the mirror 11 has 50% reflecting capability and the mirror 12 has 100% reflecting capability, so pieces 13-16 of luminous flux reflected by the mirrors 9-12 have the same intensity. Then, the photoreceptors of the electrophotographic process partsI-IV are exposed to the pieces 13-16 of luminous flux to form the four electrostatic images of the original 2 at the same time.
