Summary:PURPOSE:To affect a cooling effect simultaneously with suppression of oxidation and to prevent the deterioration of adsorbents in a recovering method of solvents using the adsorbents by sealing nitrogen into an adsorption tower right after desorption then starting an adsorption cycle. CONSTITUTION:A raw gas G is fed through a filter F and a gas cooler GC into an adsorption tower T using active carbon by a blower B, where solvents are captured and air G' is discharged therefrom. After the adsorption for a specified time, steam S is fed into the tower T, and the previously captured solvents are fed through a condenser C to a decanter D, by which the solvents are separated to waste water W and recovered solvents RS. The solvents RS are recovered into a recovering tank RT for reutilization. Upon ending of the desportion, a valve V2 is closed and a valve V1 is opened to feed N2 through a valve 3 and pump P past a nitrogen cooler NC to the tower T so that the geseous solvents remaining in the fine pores of the adsorbents are expelled and the N2 is sealed in the tower T at the same time. The gas G is fed into the tower and the solvents are captured again.
