Summary:PURPOSE:To let a person know date information which is short and concise in its sentence, easily audible, and contains year as necessary, by suitably informing by a sound the date information which deletes or contains year in accordance with a set mode of an apparatus when an information instructing key is operated. CONSTITUTION:An RAM in a microprocessor is constituted of a counter DR for storing a data of this day, a present time storing counter JR, a displaying register X, a counter M for deciding the contents of a sound output by a time information instructing key 14, or the like. In this state, when a DATE key 1-2 is depressed, in case of a regular mode, year, month and day information is inputted to the register X, a flag F1 is set, input of a numerical key is obstructed, also the counter M is set to 3, and after that, only month and day of the contents of the counter DR are informed by a sound. In case of a set mode, the contents of the register X are stored in a corresponding position of the counter DR, the flag F1 is set, the counter M is set to 3, and after that, year, month and day being all the contents of the counter DR are informed by a sound.
