PURPOSE:To assure good top coating quality and to reduce the amts. of paint and solvents used and the costs for paint circulating equipment by making electrostatic rotary atomized spray painting and electrostatic air atomized spray painting possible under the same painting conditions. CONSTITUTION:In order to perform electrostatic rotary atomized spray painting and electrostatic air atomized spray painting under the same painting conditions, automatic painting with an electrostatic rotary atomized spray painter by setting spray paint viscosity at 25-35sec/20 deg.Cand manually corrected painting with an electrostatic air atomized spray painter on the painted surface that cannot be maintained automatically with said electrostatic rotary atomized spray painter are carried out. As a result, the paint is used efficiently, the common use of one unit of paint circulating equipement is made possible, and the cost of equipment and the installation space for equipment are reduced.
