Summary:PURPOSE:To perform the stabilization of a controller for a motor and to facilitate the adjustment of the controller by commonly using a power source and a speed controller by aiming at the speed characteristic of the motor for controlling the field of the motor. CONSTITUTION:Motors 51, 52 are energized in parallel by a common power source 81A. A speed controller 71A compares a speed instruction signal 61 with a feedback signal from a rotating speed detector 91 coupled to the motor 51 to produce a control signal, and applies it to the power source 81A. On the other hand, the field coil 121 of the motor 51 is excited by a field power source 11, and is controlled to become magnetic flux determined by a field magnetic flux instruction signal 61A. This signal 61A is given as a fixed value in a certain case, and is given as a variable signal in response to the rotating speed from a motor torque regulator in the other case.
