Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor high in sensitivity, small in residual potential, and stable against ozone, heat, and light, by adding oxime compds. selected from 3 specified groups as a charge transfer substance to a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A superior photoreceptor having long life is obtained by adding oxime compds as a charge transfer substance to a single layer together with a charge generating substance or to a charge transfer layer to form a photoconductive layer together with a charge generating layer. Said oxime compds. are represented by formulaeI, II, and III in which R is alkoxy, aralkyloxy, or disubstd. amino represented by -N(R , R ); R , R are alkyl or phenyl respectively optionally substd., or they may combine with esch other to form an N- contg. hetero ring; R , R are H or halogen or the like; R is H, alkyl, aralkyl, or the like; R is H, alkyl, aralkyl, or the like; A is optionally substd. condensed carbon ring having 10-20C, or a single or composite hetero ring represented by formulae IV, V, and VI; Y, Z are S, O, or -R , R is 1-4C alkyl; R , R are H, alkyl, or the like; R is H, alkyl, NO2, or the like; and B is optionally substd. arylene. |
