Summary: | PURPOSE:To decrease substantially the number of sets of tone signal trasmitters allocated to the system, by the common provision of a tone signal generating circuit and the associated circuit, and increasing the number of simultaneous connections of tone signal transmitters. CONSTITUTION:A tone signal transmitter PBT has a plurality of tone transmission terminals and number storage buffers BUF0-BUFn corresponding to the terminals. When a transmission request of a tone signal is given to an outgoing connection trunk TRK0 line, a central processor CC first catches a vacant terminal l0 of the device PBT and connects the outgoing line trunk TRK0 and a channel P0. The device CC stores the transmitted number to the buffer BUF0 corresponding to the terminal l0. This stored number is picked up with the device PBT and converted into a tone signal and transmitted from the trunk TRK0 to the connection line via the transmission path P0. |
