Summary:PURPOSE:To feed pulverized coal forcibly to the tuyere parts of a blast furnace without providing any intricate device by ejecting a nonexplosive gas to mixed materials of oil and pulverized coal and mixing these to fluid materials under agitation. CONSTITUTION:Solid-liquid mixed materials 3 of oil such as ''C'' heavy oil and pulverized coal are flowed into a bubbling tank 1. At the same time, a nonexplosive gas 5 such as N2 is ejected through an ejection pipe 4 disposed on the bottom of the tank 1 to agitate the materials 3 effectively. The solid-liquid-gas mixed materials mixed uniformly by the gas 5 are withdrawn through a take-out port 7, pass through a pipeline 9, and are fed to the respective tuyere parts 8 of a blast furance via a distributor 11 and a distribution line 12. Since the solid- liquid-gas mixed materials contain fine gaseous substance, the abrasion of the flowing system lines is less and the separation and accumulation phenomena of solids and liquid, etc. are suppressed.
