PURPOSE:To reduce the size and height of a tape loading device by separating the tape guide of the tape loading device from a movement path for a member which drives the guide and then by guiding and moving it freely along a prescribed movement path. CONSTITUTION:A moving table 56 moved by being guided in a guide groove on the top plate 45 of a guide block 44 fitted onto a mechanism base plate 5 has tape guides 16 and 17 fitted on it, and a ring 51, which is supported horizontally and freely rotatably on the mechanism base plate 5, and the said moving table 56 are coupled with each other by a coupling lever 89. In loading, the moving table 56 moves by being pushed by the coupling lever 89 as the ring 51 rotates, but separated completely from the rotation path of the ring 51 at this to move along a prescribed movement path constituted by the guide groove 46 of a guide block 44 and the slanting or curved surface of the top plate 45. Consequently, the movement path of the moving table 56 is set optionally and freely.
