Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce NOx and rationalize the timing of ignition by introducing the negative pressure from a vacuum tank or the like intead of the suction negative pressure near a throttle valve into an EGR control valve or a negative pressure controller at the full opening of the throttle valve for acceleration of the like for controlling EGR also for acceleration. CONSTITUTION:An EGR control valve 2 is operated for opening and closing when the suction negative pressure near a throttle valve 4' is introduced into its diaphragm device via a passage 4 and a VVT valve 5. Meanwhile, when the same suction negative pressure is introduced into a negative pressure controller 7 of a distributor 6 via a passage 8, the timing of ignition is controlled. Here, a vacuum tank 10 is provided as a negative pressure source, and into it, the negative pressure in a suction pipe 12 in the downstream of the throttle valve 4' is introduced via a passage 11 for storing. The tank 10 is connected to the above said valve 2 and a controller 7 via negative pressure passages 14 and 14a and an electromagnetic valve 15. The electromagnetic valve 15 is operated for switching on the basis of signal from a water temperature switch 16, a negative pressure switch 17, a car speed switch 18, and others.
