Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with good adhesion to a polar material by the heat treatment of a modified PP prepd. by the molt kneading of PP, an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an org. peroxide, and them admixture with an ethylene-alpha-olefin random copolymer. CONSTITUTION:After a modified PP obtd. by the melt kneading of a mixt. consisting of 100pts.wt. PP, 0.05-5pts.wt. unsaturated carboxylic acid or a deriv. thereof such as maleic anhydride and 0.01-1pts.wt. org. peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide is heated at a temp. >=60 deg.C, 90-50pts.wt. said modified PP is mixed with 10- 50pts.wt. ethylene-alpha-olefin random copolymer such as an ethylene-propylene random copolymer, to obtain a modified PP composition. The composition can be obtd. at a low cost by a somple operation and has good adhesion to a polar material such as polyester, glass or metal.
