Summary:PURPOSE:To attempt to improve the heat collecting efficiency to control the direction of the solar heat collector by the output of at least two photoelectric elements fixed to both sides through a light shielding plate extending in a direction perpendicularly intersecting the heat collecting surface and sun orbit. CONSTITUTION:The heat collector 1 receives the solar rays and light is collected to a heat pipe 9, and heat is transmitted to a heat exchange water tank 13 through the heat pipe 9. First and second photoelectric conversion elements 22 and 23 are fixed to both sides of the heat collector 1 through a light shielding plate 24 extending in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the heat collector 1. When the sun rises, the angle of light incident on a photodetector 20 is inclined, and the quantity of light incident onto a first photoelectric conversion element 22 is decreased, and a signal due to the difference of incident light quantities of both elements is generated. By this signal, a heat collection driver 12 is driven, and the heat collector 1 is rotated. When the light is incident from the directly above part of the driver 12, the outputs from the elements 22 and 23 become equal, and the heat collection driver 12 is stopped to drive.
