Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance the uniformity in molding and vulcanizing a tyre and enhance sealing properties by a method wherein relative rotational motions of a screw threaded shaft and a ball-fitted nut are converted into linear motions so as to move an upper ring vertically. CONSTITUTION:The central mechanism is comprised of a bush 38 connected to the upper ring 18 through a coupling rod 17, the ball-fitted nut 37 (a nut having a plurality of a rollable balls between it and the screw threaded shaft 35) to which the bush 38 is screwed, the screw threaded shaft 35, a key or spline 30 for converting the rotational motions of the shaft 35 into vertical motions of the nut 37, and a hydraulic shock absorber 52 for absorbing the shocks of the shaft 35 and a motor 32. When the threaded shaft 35 is rotated by driving the motor 32, the nut 37 is moved vertically in a cylinder tube 14, whereby the upper ring 18 holding the upper end part of a bladder 11 is moved vertically.
