Summary:PURPOSE:To exactly jon elements for an underground continuous wall by providing mechanical coupling projections to the faces to be faced with placed concrete of a joining member by which the split elements for constituting the undergound continuous wall are connected. CONSTITUTION:A joining member 6 made of H-shaped steel, etc., is provided at the oints between elements 2 constituting an underground continuous wall 1, and concrete is placed to join the elements 2. In this case, a large number of mechanical coupling projections 10 formed by welding shear reinforcing bars 10a are formed on the faces to be faced with the concrete of the flange portions 4 of the joining member 6. The projections 10 are buried in the concrete placed and thereby the joining of the elements is secured.
