Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the reproduction of an electrode by forming an ion selective film section sequentially of a plurality of peelable layers. CONSTITUTION:An internal reference electrode 12 of silver-silver chloride is housed in a cylindrical container 11 and a conductive material 14 such as KCl solution is sealed into a space section made up of a shield wall 13 thereof 11. A plurality of K ion selective films 16a, 16b and 16c about 100mum in thickness made up of a polyvinyl chloride impregnated with valinomycin are pasted at the tip of a vessel 11 in a layer retained in a space and conductive material 17a and 17b produced from a KCl solution are sealed therebetween. If deteriorated, an outer ion selective film is peeled to reproduce the electrode thereby restoring it to the performance close to the initial level thereof.
