Summary:PURPOSE:To display an accurate amount of tape to be used in the unit of minute as an elapsed time or a residual time, by counting a control signal controlling the tape run or a signal using the control signal as a reference. CONSTITUTION:A control signal which makes tape run stable has an accurate period, 30Hz in case of an NTSC system, this control signal is counted by 1,800 at a microprocessor 1 and the display in the unit of 1min is made to a display 2. Thus, if the display of the display device 2 shows 60, it is simply known that 60min are elapsed after the start of recording.
