PURPOSE:To ensure the stable travelling of a tape, by providing a lubricant resin film to the guide parts of a leading tape and reducing the friction force between the tape and the guide part. CONSTITUTION:In the loading and loading release modes of a tape, a leading tape 6 is guided along a guide face 11b of a guide member 11 at the outer circumference of a rotary drum 1 which guides the tape along its travelling route as well as along the guide surfaces 9b and 14b of fixed head covers 9 and 14. The lubricant resin films 17 and 18 are provided on the guide surfaces 11b, 9b and 14b respectively, and the tape 6 travels with a contact secured to the films 17 and 18. Thus the friction force is reduced between the tape 6 and the guide surfaces of its travelling route. As a result, the driving torque is reduced for the rolling-up of the tape 6 to a roll-up reel 5. Thus the tape 6 has the stable travelling without causing any stick slip phenomenon.
