Summary:PURPOSE:To provide superior resistance to the occurrence of checks due to repeated heating and cooling at high temp. and superior corrosion resistance by adding specified amounts of C, Ni, Cr, Mo and Co to Fe. CONSTITUTION:The composition of this martensite alloy contg. Co for welding is composed of, by W/O, <0.1 C, <2 Ni, 9.5-14 Cr, 0.3-0.8 Mo, 0.5-4 Co and the balance Fe with impurities. By adding such specified amounts of Ni, Cr, Mo and Co, the alloy has enhanced mechanical properties and high resistance to the occurrence of checks due to repeated heating and cooling at high temp.
