Summary:PURPOSE:To make the running extent of a tape and the display value of a counter coincident with each other accurately in a video recording and a reproducing state by counting a control signal for running the tape normaly and a reel output independently and simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 has two counters 2 internally, and they are switched with a changeover switch 3 to perform display on a display tube 4. Each counter 2 input signals from a control signal circuit 5 and a reel signal circuit 6 respectively. The control signal circuit 5 performs processing in such a way that the microprocessor 1 inputs the control signal or a signal based upon the control signal. The reel signal circuit 6, on the other hand, processes a signal which depends upon reel rotation similarly.
