Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce oxygen consumption without degrading scarfing efficiency by shielding the upper part of flames with pressurized air, fitting an air including block to a nozzle and the lower part of a lower block and tapering an oxygen ejection port. CONSTITUTION:Plural pressurized air ejection holes 4 are provided in the upper part of an upper block 8 of a nozzle body 7 to shield the upper part of flames. In the lower part theeof, plural gaseous fuel ejection holes 2 are provided and an oxygen ejection hole 1 is formed at te boundary of the block 8 and a lower block 5. The block 5 onthe leading end side of the hole 1 is notched and is tapered to form sub-flow of oxygen. An air inclusion preventing block 6 having a skid 10 in contact with the work is fitted in the lowr part of the block 5 slightly backward of the leading end face of the hole 1 to reduce the spacing in the lower part of flames, whereby the amt. of air inclusion is reduced.
