Summary:PURPOSE:To realize accurate display of the use period of a storage battery by forming a storage battery case from a plastic material added with a matter which discolors by heating as time passes, and burying a charging resistance used for heating in the said battery case. CONSTITUTION:A constantly-charged battery 6 is installed in a storage battery case 11 which is used for an emergency lighting fitting or the like. The case 11 is formed from a plastic material added with a time discoloration material, which discolors by heating as time passes. A charging resistance 10, which heats the above time discoloration material, is buried in a part of the case 11. Consequently, the case 11 discolors before the expiration of the life of the battery 6, and displays that the replacement of the battery 6 is needed.
