PURPOSE:To equalize pressure distribution of the paint in a double pipe type supply header by a method wherein an inner insert pipe expanding and contracting by a pressure fluid is inserted into the inner pipe divided into two parts of said supply header supplying the paint and the inner insert pipe is subjected to elastic deformation corresponding to difference of inner and outer pressures. CONSTITUTION:A paint supplied through a supply header 6 is emitted from an emitting nozzle 3 to paint a material 1 to be painted such as a paper or the like. Said supply header 6 is formed from a double pipe as well as the inside of an inner pipe 8 is divided into two parts to a diameter direction thereof by a partition wall 10 and extensible and contractable pipes 13a, 13b filled with a pressure fluid are arranged in each divided hollow parts 11a, 11b in a piercing condition. By this constitution, because diameters of said extensible and contractable pipes 13a, 13b are elastically deformed corresponding to difference of inner and outer pressures, pressure reduction and flow speed reduction of the paint flowing through each divided hollow parts 11a, 11b can be compensated.
